MYTH AND METAPHOR
Original Exhibit Dates: November 5 to 29, 2009
In this exhibit three featured artists use their selected mediums to abstractly express ideas and feelings about music, freedom and home. Hollis Jeffcoat from New York and Sanibel has created new abstract works that use nature as metaphor for her inner views. Lee County native Krista Johnson's primitive-style paintings are spirited expressions full of color and mystery. Jim Krieger from Montreal and Naples bends, folds, paints and etches metal into abstract wall hangings and sculptures that reflect his literary turn of mind.
Gathered together the artwork play off each other creating an atmosphere of bold beauty.
